National Conference 2024
When preparing annual financial statements for an SMSF there can be many superannuation compliance and income tax issues that arise that need to be considered. In addition, there will be audit considerations, such as what evidence an SMSF auditor will require to be satisfied that SIS rules have been complied with.
In this workshop, Mark and Marjon will present case studies for attendees to consider the accounting, technical and audit issues that can arise during the preparation of annual financial statements with a particular focus on market valuation of fund assets and SMSFs paying pensions.
There will also be a section of the workshop to consider a number of real life scenarios and war stories that will be put to attendees to provide their thoughts and views on the relevant issues, with Mark and Marjon revealing their approach to each one.
